Paradise Found: A Recap of the Margaritaville RV Resort & Southern Alliance Ally Rally, April 2024

Are you ready to trade the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a slice of paradise on wheels? Then buckle up and join us on a journey to the Margaritaville RV Resort, where the Southern Alliance Ally Rally transformed a regular camping trip into an unforgettable adventure filled with fun presentations, live music, parades, new friendships, and mouthwatering cuisine.

As we rolled into the Margaritaville RV Resort, we were immediately struck by the laid-back atmosphere and the vibrant energy buzzing throughout the campground. Set against a backdrop of swaying palm trees and clear blue skies, it was the perfect setting to kick back, relax, and let the worries of the world drift away.

This is our first Rally and it did not disappoint. Venturesome Couple (Chris & Martha) did an amazing job along with the many volunteers to make this an amazing event. We cannot thank them enough for making us feel at home. The rally kicked off with a series of engaging presentations, covering everything from RV maintenance tips to having fun and . Whether you were a seasoned RVer or a novice camper, there was something for everyone to learn and enjoy. From Alliance Q & A to the latest in RV technology, the speakers kept us informed and entertained throughout the event.

But it wasn't all about learning; there was plenty of time for play too! Each night, the campground came alive with the sounds of live music, as talented musicians took to the stage to serenade us with their tunes while we sat at the Tiki Hut Bar or at the many Fire Pits. It was nice to sit and get to know other Allies or S.O.B’s (Some Other Brand).

One of the highlights of the rally was bringing our fur babies to the Dog park for a pet parade. So many different breeds, Personalities, sizes and so much excitement as they were trying to figure out what was going on. Shadow was a little scared as she did not know what was happening with all these dogs in one place. It has been a while since she was at a dog park. She made sure she was dressed for the occasion in her Hawaiian Dress.

But perhaps the best part of the rally was the sense of community that permeated every aspect of the event. From sharing stories around the campfire to making new friends over a plate of delicious barbecue, the Margaritaville RV Resort was a place where strangers quickly became family.

And speaking of food, let's talk about the culinary delights that awaited us at every turn. The food at the rally was nothing short of spectacular. And of course, no trip to Margaritaville would be complete without a frozen concoction or two to cool off in the warm Southern sun.

As the rally came to a close and it was time to pack up and hit the road once again, We couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness at saying goodbye to the friends we had made and the memories we had shared. But as we pulled out of the campground and pointed my RV towards the horizon, We knew that this wouldn't be the last time we visited Margaritaville. After all, as the saying goes, it's always five o'clock somewhere!
